You are about to read about one of the greatest rock canyon in the world. The Grand Caynon is over two billion years old.There is layers of rocks and the rocks are differnt colors! How cool is that. Two billion years ago the canyon was under sea water. That is how at the bottom of the rocks got there color, blue and gray. As the earth siffted the colors of red, orange, and purple rockes formed. Obout 6 million years ago the earth siffted and made crack and water started to flow. That is how the Colorado river was formed. There is a lot of animals that lived there. There are birds, deer, and a lot of other animals. Scientist still don't have how the Grand Canyon was form but there is on thing we all now and that is it is HUGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
